If you didn’t get enough of their spring festival, then join the parishioners of St. Sophia this September 6-9, 2018 for their Fall Grecian Festival. It’s an annual favorite way to celebrate all things Greek. This fabulous affair features traditional Greek food like gyros and souvlakia. The lamb shank platter is a crowd favorite, but theirs so much more. If you love sweets like loukoumades, galaktoboureko, and melomakarona, then prepare to indulge. Return to your roots and bring in the fall season.
While watching the sunset on their beautiful Byzantine church, enjoy a Greek coffee. Watch the Asteria dance group perform folk dances in traditional folk attire. There’s free parking, games, and rides for the kids and the hospitality the Greeks are known for. For more info visit the festival’s homepage.
