The Philoptochos Society of St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church “Pistis, Elpis & Agape” will host its Annual Vasilopita Breakfast on Sunday, January 4, 2026, immediately following Divine Liturgy. The celebration will take place in the Fr. John A. Limberakis Cultural Center at the parish in Jeffersonville.
As part of the morning’s gathering, Fr. Konstantine will lead the traditional cutting of the Vasilopita, offering blessings for the new year.
Breakfast will include:
- French toast casserole
- Scrambled eggs
- Sausage links
- Muffins
- Fresh fruit
- Greek yogurt
- Coffee and juice
Donation: $15
Proceeds benefit Saint Basil Academy in Garrison, NY, a Greek Orthodox residential institution founded in 1944 that provides a safe, supportive home for children and families in need and also serves as a retreat and training center for the wider Orthodox community.
