Cherry Hill, NJ – The annual Three Hierarchs event was hosted at the Danielle Kousoulis Center of St. Thomas this past Saturday. Fourteen area Greek Orthodox churches participated in the affair that was hosted by the Metropolis of New Jersey.
The invocation was given by His Eminence, Metropolitan Evangelos of New Jersey and then followed by dinner. Anastasios Efstratiades Esp., parish council president of St. Thomas then gave a speech about the history of the three Hierarchs.
Master of Ceremonies, Demetrios Rozanitis then introduced the poetry, song, and dancing by the various church student representatives. His Eminence, Metropolitan Evangelos of New Jersey then presented the certificate awards to the Sunday school and Greek school teachers of each church for their service. The evening closed with a special musical performance by the St. Thomas School.
