A Taste Of Greece 2016 Greek Food Festival To Kick Off On October 6

Media, PA – “A Taste of Greece” Greek food festival returns again to St. George Greek Orthodox Church. This October 6 through 9th, homemade Greek food will be prepared and served on the church grounds for everyone to enjoy. Under the tent, you’ll be able to enjoy traditional Greek coffee and pastries while watching folk dancers or strolling through our Agora. There will be arts and crafts for kids, and local vendors will feature Greek products.

Some of the unique Grecian specialties you’ve come to know and love, like spanakopita, tiropita, and dolmathes, will be made fresh on site. They’ll also be served up inside as platters or à la carte.

Inside the church hall, mousaka, pastitsio, and every sweet your heart desires, like our famous loukoumades, are here. Enjoy traditional Greek music and folk dancing throughout the weekend. You can stop in for lunch or dinner with family and friends. We’re open all day and into the evening. There’s also plenty of free parking.
