Media, PA – “A Taste of Greece” Greek food festival returns again to St. George Greek Orthodox Church. This October 6th through the 9th, homemade Greek food will be prepared and featured on the grounds of the church for everyone to enjoy. Under the tent, you’ll be able to enjoy traditional Greek coffee and pastries while watching folk dancers or strolling through our Agora. They’ll be arts and crafts for kids and local vendors featuring Greek products.
Some of the unique Grecian specialties you’ve come to know and love like, spanakopita, tiropita and dolmathes will be made fresh on site. They’ll also be served up inside as platters or a la carte.
Inside the church hall, mousaka, pastitsio, and every sweet your heart desires, like our famous loukoumades is here. Enjoy the sounds of traditional Greek music and folk dancing performed throughout the weekend. You can stop in for lunch or dinner with family and friends. We’re open all day and into the evening. There’s also plenty of free parking.
