The Greek-American community of Broomall mourns the passing of Tilemahos “Telly” Kamberogiannis, who fell asleep in the Lord on October 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at home. He was 84 years old.
Born in Vythos (Ntolos), Voio Kozani, Greece, in 1941, Telly was the youngest of five boys born to Vasilios and Theodora Kamberogiannis. Like many of his generation, he carried with him the values of hard work, faith, and deep love for family that shaped his life both in Greece and later in America.
Telly was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria (née Giftakis) Kamberogiannis, with whom he shared a lifetime of devotion. He is survived by his children, Theodora (Brian) Lucado, Evanthia Kamberogiannis, and Vasilios Kamberogiannis, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Anastasios Kamberogiannis and Penelope Lucado.
Those who knew him remember his warm smile, generous spirit, and quiet strength, qualities that left a lasting impression on everyone who crossed his path. His legacy will continue to live on in his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at St. Luke’s Greek Orthodox Church, 35 N. Malin Rd, Broomall, PA 19008. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Broomall.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to St. Luke’s Greek Orthodox Church.
He will be remembered fondly by all who shared his life, from his hometown of Vythos to the Delaware County Greek community that became his second home.
May his memory be eternal.
