Upper Darby, PA – St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church will host it’s annual Upper Darby Greek Festival, from May 14th through the 17th. The festival features Greek food, authentic folk dancing by area dance troupes and it’s own Pegasus. Dancing will take place daily under the big tent.

An indoor agora for those that love to shop is a must stop. Iconography and Greek memorable will be sold. An indoor taverna will feature traditional Greek meals made on premises by its parishioners.

Atlantis of Philadelphia, the area’s top Greek-American band will also be present for three days, bringing a variety of Greek music from the ages adding to the Greek atmosphere.

On Thursday, a special comedic performance by Angelo Tsarouchas will take place. Angelo has appeared on hit TV shows such as “Mad Men”, “Sullivan and Son”, and “Blue Mountain State”.
