Upper Darby, PA – Dancing, food, live music, and more, all at the first Greek festival of the spring season being hosted at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church this weekend.
Under the big white tent or in the air-conditioned hall, visitors were treated to homemade food and kefi. The St Demetrios Dance group and the Pontian Akritai provided the dancing for more than two hours straight. It was followed by live music and dancing late into the evening.
With plenty of parking across the street, guests filed in for an evening of fun – Greek style. The festival continues all day today and Sunday. It’s a perfect weekend for families and friends to enjoy the culture and food of Greece.
