June 22, 2012. Mt. Laurel, NJ – More than 3000.00 dollars in scholarships was raised last week by AHEPA chapter, 69, Camden, at it’s annual golf outing at Rambler country club in south Jersey. Once again, district 5 proves to be one of the most philanthropic AHEPA sponsors nationally. With a long list like, The Fifth District Cancer Research Foundation; support for Cooley’s Anemia; the Cyprus Children’s Fund and the purchasing of a pulse oximeter at Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital; not to mention continued support for local churches and campaign involvement at Ground zero, the fifth district of Ahepa continues to show the way.

This annual tournament sponsored for the 3rd year in a row had many local sponsors and continues to be a growing event. A review over the past 20 years shows that AHEPA Camden Chapter has given well over 110,000 in scholarships to it’s high school graduates and college students in our local community. Cosmos Philly sends out a big congratulations to the sponsors for it’s generous contributions and to AHEPA.
