Upper Darby, PA – At the Pontian Akritai clubhouse, surrounded by his grandchildren, Carry Mossaidis smiles for a photo op for the books. Family members, friends, and relatives came out for a surprise party and to honor Carry over a banquet made for a king. Traditional and hearty Greek food was served to the guests who shared a few laughs and photographs. Sons, Basil and Peter, thanked the crowd that came out to share the special moment.
Carry Mossaides is a long time member of the Greek-American community. His family business, Apollo Tours helped many Greek immigrate to the Unites States. Mossaidis, an immigrant himself, was interviewed a couple of years ago by the Greek-American Heritage Society of Philadelphia.
