Upper Darby, PA – The AHEPA Thermopylae Chapter 445 hosted its thanksgiving meeting at the Pontian Leski in Upper Darby yesterday. Dates have been officially set for the spring track meet. The annual Pan-Hellenic Track & Field Meet and the upcoming Christmas Party/Scholarship Awards banquet.
The annual Track meet is the oldest Greek-American Track meet in North America. It brings together the Greek-American community of the metropolitan Philadelphia area for a fun, free day of athletic events associated with the history of the Olympics.
The Christmas Party/Scholarship program is an annual event that brings together the members of the organization and students from the Greek-American community. They will award more than $7,000 in scholarships to students this year.
