Young Leaders Kick Off 2026 with Vasilopita Brunch in Philly

The Philadelphia Greek-American youth community will gather to welcome the new year with a Vasilopita Brunch: Parea and Poto, organized by the Young Leaders in collaboration with local youth organizations.

The event will take place on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at Mona, the city’s newest upscale Mediterranean restaurant, located at 1308 Chestnut Street in Center City.

Planned as a relaxed start to the year, the brunch invites members of Philadelphia-area youth organizations to connect in a shared setting. Light appetizers are included with admission, along with the traditional Vasilopita cutting. A cash bar will be available throughout the afternoon.

Tickets are $45 pre-sale, covering entry and light bites. The event is 21+, and valid identification will be required for entry.

The event has also been shared through the Federation of Hellenic-American Societies of Philadelphia and Greater Delaware, placing it within the broader calendar of Greek-American community activities in the region.

The gathering is co-hosted by several Philadelphia-area youth organizations, including the Chios Society, Evangelismos Bustleton YAL, HUC Philly, St. Sophia YAL, Pan-Macedonian Youth of Philadelphia, and the University of Delaware HSA.

Organizers say the goal is to bring Philadelphia-area Greek youth organizations together at the start of the year and encourage continued connection across the community.
