300 Revisited – Hellenic Warriors

John Trikeriotis of “The Hellenic Warriors” (Living History Group) spoke at a lecture at Drexel University last week, on the topic “300 revisited: Fact and fiction in Hollywood’s depiction of the Battle of Thermopylae”. Trikeriotis a member of the archaeological group “The Leonidas Expeditions. also shared authentic armor and weapons which were used by the ancient Greek warriors 2,500 years ago in one of history’s great last stands. Students were allowed to handle and try on the replica equipment. The event was sponsored by the Greek Studies program of Drexel University.
