Upper Darby, PA – Kings Hold Top Spot with Key Win, Wolfpack and Revolution Stay Strong

Week 6 of the PGBL season brought clarity to the standings, with several top teams reinforcing their dominance. The Kings edged out Rip City in the night’s headline game, while the Wolfpack and Revolution rolled to convincing wins.

Game 1: Wolfpack 67 – Mavericks 29
The Wolfpack opened the night with a dominant performance against the winless Mavericks. Lockdown defense and steady scoring helped them cruise to victory, improving to 5-1 and keeping them atop their division. The Mavericks, still seeking their first win, showed effort but couldn’t keep pace.

Game 2: Kings 79 – Rip City 72
In the night’s most anticipated matchup, the Kings and Rip City traded baskets for much of the game. It remained close deep into the second half, but with around eight minutes remaining, Rip City’s offense cooled off while the Kings continued to execute. The win moves the Kings to 6-1, securing their place at the top of the standings and proving they’re a serious title contender.

Game 3: Revolution 59 – Hellas 32
Coming off their first win, Hellas looked to build momentum — but the Revolution had other plans. They came out strong and took control early, dominating the first half and never looking back. With the win, the Revolution tighten their grip on a playoff spot and continue to trend upward.

With the season entering its second half, the top teams are beginning to separate — but with several matchups still to come, the playoff race remains wide open.
