Upper Darby, PA – Danny’s Boys Take League Lead, Revolution Rolls, Spartans Surge

Thursday night at St. Demetrios delivered a full slate of action as three matchups shaped the midseason standings. In the headline game, Danny’s Boys took control of the league with a statement win, while the Revolution looked sharp, and the Spartans pulled away late.

Game 1: Revolution 63 – Sixers 41
The Revolution came out strong and never let up, dominating the Sixers from start to finish. They controlled the pace, moved the ball well, and capitalized on defensive breakdowns. Pete Kada led all scorers with 25 points, as the Revolution showed just how explosive they can be when everything clicks.

Game 2: Danny’s Boys 63 – Wolfpack 55
The night’s marquee matchup featured the reigning champs, Danny’s Boys, taking on last season’s runners-up, The Wolfpack, in a physical and tightly contested game. Foul trouble affected Danny’s Boys early, and the scoring stayed close through the first half.
But in the second half, missed opportunities by the Wolfpack and a clutch performance by Pete Kathopoulos helped Danny’s Boys pull away and secure the win — claiming the top spot in the standings.

Game 3: Spartans 46 – Mavericks 31
The Mavericks came out with energy and stayed competitive in the first half, but the Spartans turned up the pressure after the break. With strong rebounding and a steady fast-break offense, they took control in the second half and coasted to the win.
The Mavericks continue to battle, but are still searching for their first victory of the season.

With Danny’s Boys sitting atop the standings and several teams hitting their stride, the playoff race is heating up — and every game from here on out will count.
