The seaside promenade of Thessaloniki is the best way to enjoy the city! The “New Seaside” is the part from the White Tower to the Concert Hall and was constructed in the 1960s. A stroll at the Thessaloniki waterfront is best done in late afternoon, when you can enjoy the marvellous sunset and wonderful sky colours. However, the beautiful lights, which were recently placed, have transformed the night walk along the seaside into a unique experience. The whole walk is about 4.5 km and will take you 1-1.5 hours.
