The American Hellenic Institute (AHI) will celebrate its 52nd anniversary with the Hellenic Heritage Achievement and National Public Service Awards Dinner on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC.

The annual gala honors individuals whose leadership, philanthropy, and public service have made a lasting impact on the Hellenic American community and on public life in the United States.

2026 Honorees

  • Stavros K. Veletsis, entrepreneur and philanthropist
  • Helen A. Carlos, prominent church patron and philanthropist
  • Savas C. Tsivicos, community advocate and civic leader

The evening’s Master of Ceremonies will be Mike Emanuel, Chief Washington Correspondent for FOX News Channel.

In addition to the awards dinner, AHI’s anniversary weekend includes related programming, with opportunities for individual attendance, sponsorships, and participation in policy-focused events. Proceeds support the organization’s work in advancing Hellenic American advocacy, public policy engagement, and educational initiatives.
