Grizzlies Run Out of Steam in Double OT Battle; Arseniko Edges Spurs

Fouled-out Grizzlies lined the bench, watching helplessly as their team fought into the final minutes of double overtime with only three players on the court. It was a valiant effort, but in the end, they simply ran out of steam.

They say, “The third time’s a charm,” and for the Grizzlies, it nearly was. After going winless for the past two seasons, the team had finally started turning heads with back-to-back wins. A third victory would’ve been a franchise first. Instead, they fell just short in a thriller against the surging Warriors.

The game was a classic — physical, emotional, and filled with momentum swings. Jim Kemmerer led the Grizzlies with 30 points, while Andrew Milonas added 25, showing just how far this team has come. But George Vlahos was unstoppable. The Warriors’ star put up 39 points and carried his squad to an 87–82 win in double OT.

With the playoffs on the horizon, the Warriors are heating up at just the right time. Quietly focused, they’ve shaken off their slow start and now look like a legitimate threat.

Game Two: 100% Arseniko 49 – Spurs 40

The night’s second game was a slower-paced, defensive matchup between two playoff-bound teams. 100% Arseniko and the Spurs traded baskets for much of the night, keeping the score tight until the final minutes.

Chris Voutsakis led Arseniko with 15 points, guiding his team to a steady 49–40 win. For the Spurs, Vasili Rousseas hit several clutch three-pointers and finished with 17 points, keeping his team within striking distance. Ultimately, Arseniko’s poise and disciplined defense proved to be the difference.
