Upper Darby, PA – Newcomer Tune Squad met up with the Warriors for the big 8 pm match-up yesterday at St. Demetrios. It was the second week of the PGBL. The Warriors known for their scrappy play, dressed in blue, kept it close through the first half with an aggressive effort inside the paint. However Tune Squad, a team made up of veteran players from around the league, including league MVP Chris Vasiliou, dominated the second half, giving them their 1st win as a new team.

Perhaps it was a series of three-pointers by the veteran players. Eighteen of their fifty-nine points were from outside the three-point range. Chris Voutsakis and Dimitri Zaniko each scored 18 points, and led all scores. Tune Squads domination in the second half made them look like an early front-runner in the PGBL. The Warriors fell two in a row, leaving them in the last place. A tough start to an early season still.

Final score: Tune Squad 59, Warriors 40.
