Upper Darby, PA – Families gathered with pride as students from St. Demetrios Greek School, kindergarten through eighth grade, took the stage to perform traditional dances from across Greece. It was a celebration of culture, heritage, and education—an annual showcase that brought the community together.
Dressed in navy blue skirts and khakis, the students filled the church hall with movement and music, twirling and stepping to the rhythms of their ancestors. Parents and grandparents watched with joy, capturing the moment in photos and applause.
As Greek schools across the Delaware Valley mark the season with similar events, the students of St. Demetrios reminded us that winter may be long, but our traditions—and our future—are alive and well in the hands of our youth.
Congratulations to the St. Demetrios Greek School on a beautiful performance.
