Philadelphia, PA – Vassiliki Vadarlis was baptized on October 19, 2014 at 3:30pm at Evangelismos of Theotokos Greek Orthodox church on Bustleton Avenue. The proud parents Ioannis, Bella and big brother Giorgo Vadarlis were blessed and overjoyed to be surrounded by their loving family and wonderful friends witnessing their daughters magical event and very blessed and honored to have Athanassios and Miguelina Charistidis be the godparents. But it didn’t stop there, the happy parents also did a 10 year vow renewal blessing of their wedding bands which made this occasion even more unforgettable.
The celebration continued with the reception, which was held at Cannstatter Volksfest Verein restaurant on Academy road. Father Alexandros opened the ceremony with a heartwarming blessing. The beautiful international mix of 170 Grecians and Albanians made brought two communities together singing, dancing and sharing traditions. What a great way to end the night with a zeibekiko performance from their 8 year old son Giorgo.
