May 26th 2012. The 66th annual Pan Macedonian Convention arrived in Philadelphia last week. The 4 day event centered in Old city, was hosted by the Greater Philadelphia Pan Macedonian Society, Pavlos Melas, Amalia and Youth of Alexander. Hundreds of representatives from across the United States attended the cultural event. Guests were treated to lectures on contemporary issues on Hellenism; tours around the city and a gala dinner evening that featured a blend of Hellenic theatrical dancing and performing arts. The event wrapped up on Memorial day with a picnic at Ridley Creek State Park.
