Philadelphia, PA – Yesterday afternoon, at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, his Eminence, Archbishop Elpidophoros of America gave a final farewell to Father Demetrios S. Katerlis during his funeral services.
The Greek community, family members, and guests were in attendance. Father Katerlis, served at St. George for many years before retiring. AHEPA, Archon, and other dignitaries were present as well.
The viewing began at 10 am, and continued with the funeral service that took place from approximately 11 am until 12:30 pm. His interment was at Locustwood Cemetery in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
