Upper Darby, PA – Thursday evening’s are about to heat with the PGBL’s playoffs. The final week concluded with all the playoff contenders making an appearance on Sunday night. In game one, Dannys Boys and Rip City met up. Danny’s Boys had nearly all their players back since early in the season and easily handled Rip City. Final score: Danny’s Boys 73, Rip City 64.

The Sixers and Kings met up in game two. The Kings played all around team ball, while the Sixers seemed a step behind, missing layups and a key component, Jim Armenakis. Veteran teams, they both will be challenging for the championship this week at the playoffs. Final score: Kings 69, Sixers 42.

The Wolfpack and Revolution met up in the final match up of the evening. The Wolfpack set a few records for the books, most wins in a season-15, most consecutive wins-15 and second best winning percentage in a season. It didn’t seem to matter much to the Pack. They’ve got their eyes on the big prize and will be tough to beat. This week, they get a by. Final score: Wolfpack 74, Revolution 69.
