On Sunday, March 30th, 2014, the Greek School of Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Church, Philadelphia presented their annual Program celebrating two important holidays; the Feastday of the Annunciation of the Holy Theotokos, and the Anniversary of Greek Independence Day 1821, both of which fall on March 25th. The students explained the dual significance of the date, re-enacted the biblical story, and then celebrated with poems, hymns, songs, and dance.
Evangelismos Philadelphia has a dynamic Greek School of forty five students and six teachers under the direction of Principal Mrs.Tina Marlos Tsiadis. Their Dance groups will be performing at the Church’s Festival on Saturday and Sunday, June 7th and 8th. The Festival runs from Thursday June 5th-Sunday June 8th.
