Upper Darby, PA – They bid and bought at the 30rth anniversary bid and buy, hosted at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. The ladies Philoptochos “Agia Barbara” under the theme, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, also honoring Audrey Hepburn filled the gym again.
Prizes, raffles, and dinner were all part of the evening that was served up by the men of the parish. Each year, St. Demetrios like many parish churches hosts fundraising events. Part of the funds raised here go to UNICEF, which Hepburn was also part of.
