Philadelphia, PA – Ranked number ten in the world, Greece is on a path to the World Cup in Brazil which will commence on June 14th against Columbia. On June 3rd, at 7:00 pm, a historic moment will take place in Philadelphia. The Greek national team will play Nigeria in a warm-up match at PPL Park in Chester, just minutes away from center city Philadelphia.

The Greek community is already preparing for the visit and ticket sales are already moving very fast. Before and after tailgate parties are being organized along with a concert following the match at PPL Park. Greek singer Kalomira will be performing under the big tent, at the stadium where a special package has been set up for the Greek community.

The event is being hosted by PPL Park, in association with Soccer United Marketing, Major League Soccer and the Philadelphia Union.
