Cinnaminson, NJ – This past Sunday, the sixth annual Metropolitan Evangelos Ambassador Awards Banquet took place. The event recognized and awarded members of the Greek Orthodox community for their devotion to Orthodoxy at their respective churches.
Guest speaker Steven Christoforou director of Greek Orthodox Youth Ministries spoke at the event. Master of Ceremony John Vasiliou introduced the evening that started with the singing of the national anthems of Greece and the United States. Elena Iliadis sang the Greek National anthem and Nicole Tsarouhas sang the American.
