St. Thomas Agora Celebrates 38th Year

Cherry Hill, NJ – St. Thomas Agora was alive with the aromas and sounds of Greece on Friday night. Thousands of Greek food enthusiasts gathered for the 38th annual Agora Festival held on the church grounds.

Inside the Kousoulis community center, à la carte meals were prepared to order. Greek-style potatoes and lamb with string beans were among the favorites. St. Thomas also showcased their famous dance troupe, which performed a series of dances from northern Macedonia, Greece. With folk flair, the kids put on four dance performances, one every hour.

Greek sweets and vendors shared the AHEPA room upstairs. Baked on the premises, the endless options like galaktoboureko, baklava, and kataifi were bagged for desserts at home.

The yearly event goes on through the weekend.
