Elkins Park, PA – An impressive display of blue, white and aqua marine colors flowed from the brushes of more than 70 parent artists. Titled, “Paint, Wine and Unwind,” Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church played host for this first-time event to raise funds for their Greek school.
Parents and parishioners packed the church hall to explore their creative side and socialize. Led by an artist/painter, they were directed to paint their own version of the mediterranean sea. “Our school is growing year after year,” said Cathy Avgeris. The funds are much needed to continue the program and its expansion. All proceeds went to the Annunciation Greek school.
