Just down the street from St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox church on any given weekday or weekend you’ll find Greeks enjoying her hearty fare.
Loukanika, paidakia, souvlakia, biftekia or kountosouvli, it’s a meat lovers paradise, prepared the way they do in Greece. But there’s so much more. The salads and side dishes like orzo and Greek style lima beans are my personal favorites. Roasted peppers and lemon potatoes served just like moms are as good as any Greek restaurants. Even when you’ve eaten your fill, it’s nearly impossible to stop wanting more.
When dignitaries and Greeks from the homeland visit our community, this is their stop. They can experience a full menu of Greek food wrapped in the traditions at the Leski. More often than not, you will experience Greek spoken in the clubhouse. Greek music or television is regularly playing in the background.
