Atlantic City, NJ – “Every ethnic group has their go-to person for comedy. And we have Basil”, shouted out George Horiates of the AHEPA. Horiatis introduced Basile the Comedian to AHEPA convention guests at Harrah’s last night. The man in black, Basil, performed for nearly two hours, sharing his ethnic experiences.
“My act caters to those who either grew up with parents who came overseas from Greece and those who are first-generation and went through the hell of living in a conservative household in wide-open American society and the problems we’ve had,” say’s Basile.
About 90 percent of his show is performed in English and the rest in Greek. Basile The Comedian, has performed his Greek comedy act in North America, Australia, Europe and even South Africa.
