The Federation of Hellenic American Societies of Philadelphia and Greater Delaware Valley held its first fall meeting at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Philadelphia this past Tuesday evening. The main topic of discussion was the upcoming Greek Independence Day parade.
During the meeting, it was announced that the parade is now officially scheduled for April 7th, 2024. The co-chairs for the event, Harry Karapalides and John Vasiliou, were also introduced and will be leading the preparations.
This meeting marked the beginning of the fall season and set the stage for upcoming events that celebrate Greek culture and heritage in the Philadelphia and Greater Delaware Valley area.
