The Federation of Hellenic American Societies of Philadelphia and Greater Delaware Valley presents Greek Night. On Saturday, January 13th, 2018 at 9:00 pm the Greek-American community will gather for this unique fundraiser to benefit the Philadelphia Greek Independence Day Parade.
The annual parade is the community’s most significant event of the year that brings Hellenes on to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. On this day, we commemorate the war of Independence from under the Ottoman yoke.
This particular dance will feature singers Katerina Topazi and Theodore Paounis along with a full orchestra. The event will be hosted at St. Demetrios Community Center in Upper Darby. For more information, please visit hellenicfed.org. All Proceeds go to the Greek Parade 2018 Fund.
