George Geromichalos, 57, of Broomall, formerly of Upper Darby, passed away on April 19th, 2024. Born in Skotina, Greece, to Anastasios and Eleni, George lived a life devoted to his passion for mechanics and his cherished family.
George is survived by his loving wife, Kunthy (Tee) Geromichalos (Soeun); his parents; brother, Dan (Connie); niece, Samantha; and nephew, Tommy.
George was not just a mechanic; he was an exceptional one. His dedication to his trade at George’s Classic Automotive was unmatched. His skill and genuine care for customers, especially among the muscle car and classic enthusiasts he served, earned him a loyal following. Attending car shows and flea markets was not just a hobby but a testament to his love for his work and customers.
More than just an honest mechanic, George was an honest man – loyal, reliable, and wise beyond measure. His passions extended to the outdoors with fishing trips and drives to the Florida Keys with his devoted wife, Tee.
George was a man of strong faith and an unquenchable zest for life. His warmth and integrity touched all who knew him, leaving a lasting impression. His life was a testament to the power of faith and the joy that can be found in every moment. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire us all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Thursday, April 25th, from 10 am-12 pm at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 229 Powell Lane, Upper Darby, where his funeral service will commence at noon. Interment will follow at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
George’s legacy of passion, love for family, and exemplary character will forever inspire those blessed to be part of his life. May his soul rest peacefully.
