Broomall, PA – It was a feast for the senses at the St. Luke Greek Affair this past week. A Greek village came to life in the Philly suburbs. Greek sweets, traditional meals, and colorful folk dancing were all featured on the grounds of St. Luke. Atlantis of Philadelphia played tradition Greek music on Saturday evening while Greek food lovers enjoyed their outdoor meals and watched the dance performers from St. Luke and from the surrounding area perform.
Inside the church gymnasium, ala carte meals served by chefs and parishioners filled the trays and bellies of guests. Church tours also featured the iconography and new stain glasswork of this beautiful church adding to the atmosphere.
Games and rides were also on the campus of the church. Along with free parking. The five-day “Greek Affair” has come to be synonymous with the start of the fall season in the Greek community.
