Middletown, PA – The Junior Orthodox Youth, JOY of St. Demetrios traveled to Linvilla Orchards on Monday evening for fun. Escorted by their parents, the kids enjoyed a Harvest hayride through the scenic fields and orchards at Linvilla Orchards. Lounging in a bed of straw, they stared out into an autumn sky as they followed the worn tractor path.
At the end of the ride, an outdoor picnic and campfire awaited them. Hotdogs and marshmallows over an open fire were then cooked, while photos were snapped up. As the fall sun set behind the hills, smiling faces sipped on apple cider and a birthday cake was shared. A perfect finish to beautiful evening for the kids of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.
