Broomall, PA – Several Audrey Hepburn look alikes were spotted at the St. Luke Bid & Buy on Thursday evening. Sporting black evening dresses they mingling with the guests and worked the sales booths at “Hooray for Hollywood” themed event.
The yearly event was hosted by the Ladies Philoptochos of St. Luke. The annual fundraiser featured everything from summertime products such as lawn chairs and barbeques to fashion icon favorites, from Vera Wang to Steven Lagos. Street signs marking Hollywood blvd and Rodeo Drive stood high, while Hollywood Stars decorated the floor reflecting the famed history of cinematography.
The evening kicked off with a prayer from Father Christ of St. Luke that was followed by a meal served by male parishioners. It’s since become an annual tradition as well, adding to ever growing appeal of this well recognized event.
