Chester, PA – Japan, Germany, Greece, and Nigeria press members showed up yesterday to watch the Greek National team practice. The scene was PPL Park in Chester, where the Greek team will have a warm up match with Nigeria tonight at 7:00 pm. Greece will then go on to play Columbia at the end of the week outside of NY before heading on to the World Cup in Brazil later this month.

For approximately an hour and a half, the Greek national team took to the field, practicing everything from sprinting, to a full scrimmage. With a serious tone and scruffy faces the Greeks appeared to be following a “Road to Brazil” through the northeastern corridor called America.

Following practice a few brief comments were given by the Greeks who then returned to their hotel room for the evening. Greece is ranked #10 in the World, the highest it’s ever been in international play. This is a perfect time for the Greek American audience to see top notch soccer players from the homeland. Tonights game will be historic.
