The Chios Koreas chapter of Philadelphia hosted their third annual dance in a row yesterday at the Merion, in Cinnaminson New Jersey. Some 300 Chiotes and friends from around the Delaware Valley came out to celebrate their island.
The organization is one of the oldest in the Philadelphia Greek community and awards several scholarships for young Chiotes and Hellenes. They also sponsors an annual Toy Drive for the kids at Children’s Hospital during the holiday season.
