March 3rd, 2012. The Pontian Society of Philadelphia “Akritai”, held for the 2nd time in two years a fundraiser for the Panagia Soumela Monastery in West Milford NJ. The Soumela Monastery is looking for funding and support to help with their mortgage and maintain their facilities. Other Pontian organizations in North America are holding similar events.
