Philadelphia, PA – Get out your pens, pencils and books. With just a few weeks left in summer preparations are being made to kickoff the new school year. At Evangelismos Greek Orthodox church, registration will take place on September 13th and September 20th, after Liturgy. The Agiasmo/Blessing will be on September 20th and classes will begin on September 22, 2015.
Parishioner Agnes Zidros will take the reigns as the new the Greek school principal at Evangelismos. “I am busily working away to make this an exceptional year. First new change that I’m excited to announce is that we will be at the Ukrainian Center on both Tuesday and Friday evenings. This will make Fridays a bit more structured and hopefully less hectic”, says Zidros.
Zidros added, “I am working up a schedule of more events for the children and would love to see an active PTA.” Parents are encourage to get involved and join the PTA. For more information about the upcoming Greek school year, please contact the church or Principal Agnes Zidros.
