Upper Darby, PA – It was a high scoring game that teetered back and forth till late in the second half, where the Revolution finally burst out to a ten point lead and took home the win. They did it with a series of three pointers and second half domination of the boards.

Just last week, the Revolution fell to the two time champion-Danny’s Boys as they prepare to enter the playoffs. But this night belonged to the Revolution who came to play. Back and forth they went, exchanging buckets throughout the first half, which ended with Danny’s Boys in the lead, by a score of 37-34.

But the difference was the second half domination under the boards by the Revolution’s Vasili Nasis. Nasis a late arrival, came in at the start of the second half and took control underneath at both ends. Using his size and reach he managed to score several buckets and force Danny’s Boys to collapse on him. This opened the door to the Revolutions’ shooting attack, which was on last night. The three point shooting gallery was open and the Revolution dropped the bombs that had devastating impact.

Danny’s Boys and the Revolution will meet up again for the third time in three weeks, at the opening round of the playoffs scheduled for Sunday, next week. This promises to be a great matchup, especially now that the Revolution has proven they can compete with the Boys.

Final score Revolution 82, Danny’s Boys 69.
