Philadelphia, PA – Arguable, yesterday was the biggest night of the year for the Greek community of Philadelphia. They stood proud as ambassadors of their city, as they hosted the Greek Orthodox Clergy laity and delegates from across North America. Thousands attended the cultural affair at the Water Works restaurant along the Schuylkill river. Sponsored by Greek organizations, churches, and businesses, they joined hands to welcome their fellow Hellenes to Philadelphia.
The evening featured Atlantis of Philadelphia, dance groups from the Delaware Valley and plenty of food. Basil the comedian closed out the perfect evening at the 42nd biennial Clergy-Laity hosted, here in the city of brotherly love.
