The Saint George Cathedral Festival will be running from Thursday, June 2nd to Sunday, June 5th on the Cathedral grounds at 256 South 8th Street in Philadelphia. The menu will include Lamb Shanks, Baked Chicken, Pastitsio, Moussaka as well as Souvlaki, Gyros, Spanakopita and other Greek favorites. As usual, there will be plenty of desserts including Loukoumades, Pastries, and Koulourakia. Frappe, Greek and American coffee and plenty of water, soft drinks and lemonade round out the menu. We will also have plenty of Mythos and Heineken Beer, Ouzo, and Retsina as well as white and red wines.
Music direct from Baltimore will provide entertainment all day Friday and Saturday. The ensemble includes a singer and a clarinet player. A DJ will play Greek music all day on Thursday. Join for a weekend of fun in the heart of old city Philadelphia.
