Saint George will mark its one hundred years in the community this October 15, 2022. The Anniversary Gala will be hosted at the Ballroom at the Ben in Philadelphia. A full presentation commemorating the history of the church and community will take place along with dinner and feature Yanni Papastefanou & Orchestra performing live.
Saint George Cathedral in the heart of old Greektown is where Greek immigrants first settled. It is the sixth oldest parish in the United States and boosts a great history. The entire Greek American community is invited to attend and support the continuing endeavors of our cathedral church. Dignitaries from around the country will be present on this memorable occasion.
