Mark your calendars and prepare yourself for a weekend celebrating the food and culture of Greece. St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Media is hosting its annual festival. Starting September 27th, through the 30th 2018, a feast for the senses takes place.
Parishioners will serve you under the big tent or inside the church hall. Souvlaki, Spanakopita, Gyros, and much much more of the Greek food you know and love, will be served homemade and fresh.
Check out their fabulous menu online and beat the lines by ordering ahead. Or, come out to the church and enjoy the kefi Hellenes are famous for. Try a sweet pastry and Greek coffee while watching the area’s best traditional Greek folk dancers perform throughout the weekend.
Stroll through the Greek Agora and shop for traditional goods, while listening to live Greek music. Tour our church and see our Byzantine iconography. There are games and rides for the kids and plenty of free parking. It makes for a perfect weekend for family and friends to join together.
