Cherry Hill, NJ – St. Thomas Greek Orthodox church will host it’s 42st annual “Agora” Greek Festival this coming October 8-11, 2015. Come out to the area’s biggest Greek festival and share a shot of Ouzo. Walk through the famous Agora and travel back to Greece where it all started. Learn Greek folk dancing from the parishioners and sample the cuisine Greece is famous for. From lamb platters to Gyro sandwiches and everything in between, it’s all authentic and served hot.
If you’re looking for Greek pastries, then enjoy the sweets of Greece made for this special affair that comes once a year. Sip a Greek coffee and sample a slice of homemade baklava. Then get up and enjoy a night of dancing with the area’s premier band, Atlantis of Philadelphia. They’ll perform live Greek music at the Greek Taverna night club. So get your dancing shoes on and yell OPA! It’s the area’s largest Greek Festival in South Jersey. It’s a rain or shine event and plenty of free parking.
