Upper Darby, PA – The fourteenth annual Tsipourovrathia sponsored by The Society of Epirotes of Philadelphia “Omonia” returned and celebrated the tradition again at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Upper Darby on Saturday night.

The Greek community around the Delaware Valley enjoyed an evening of traditional Epirotiko music featuring George Rampos, Singer: Chris Natsis, and Clarinet: George Bezanis. Tsipouro & Meze, a fan favorite, were served throughout the evening, and traditional Patsa was served late at night following the banquet-style dinner. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to charity.

An exceptional performance by the St. Demetrios students highlighted the evening that brought everyone onto the dance floor. Scholarships were presented, and a donation was made to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox church for their iconography.
