Cinnaminson, NJ – For more than a decade the United Chios society of Philadelphia (Koreas Chapter 16) annual dinner dance lied dominant, before it was revived two years ago. Some three hundred and fifty people attended that affair, while this year, more 500 attended the event at The Merion. They came from as far away as Baltimore and New York City. Board member Anna Psora, attributed the growth, to the infusion of youth taking the reigns of the local chapter. In fact the local chapter participates in several charitable activities including work at the Childrens Hospital in Pennsylvania, better known as CHOP. Each year during the Christmas season, the youth group gathers and donates toys for the children at the hospital, where there endeavors continue to grow.
