December. 30, 2012. Ahepa Chapter #445 members, family, friends and award recipients(Thermopylae) gathered this past week for their annual lunch. The lunch recognized milestones, scholarship recipients and past members.
George Maalouf(Pharm D), Ahepa member, was master of ceremonies. Fellow member John Onasis (as so often as he does)started the luncheon with a prayer and a moment of silence followed in memory of those fellow members that had passed.
Maalouf then proceeded to hand out awards to student scholars, then past presidents and long standing members. John Onasis,Chapter 445 member, received a 50 year pin and Nickolas Karabetsos was honored for his 63 years as a Ahepa member.
